Pacific Northwest Surgical Outreach (PNSO) and Asibiti (Asibiti Diabetes and Hypertension Initiative, Nigeria) are pleased to announce the inaugural annual Akoko Unity Health Fair. The free health fair will take place from Saturday, May 4 to May 10, 2024 at the State Specialist Hospital Ikare located on Hospital Road Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State. Nigeria. Volunteers will be on hand to help you with directions.

The Health Fair is a free event that is open to the public and will provide attendees with a wide range of health and wellness resources. The fair will feature US-based and local providers offering free health screenings, educational materials, and fun activities for all ages. Attendees can also receive nutrition information and daily opportunity to win prizes.

There will be free health screenings, including blood pressure, plus glucose testing and Body Mass Index (BMI) calculations. Medicines will be distributed to treat diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol.
