Menene ciwon sukari?

Tsarin narkewa yana juya yawancin abinci da muke ci zuwa sukari. Glucose shine man da jiki yake bukata don kuzari da aiki na yau da kullum. Rashin isa ko rashin insulin yana haifar da tarin glucose a cikin jiki wanda ke haifar da ciwon sukari da kuma hadarin da ke tattare da shi.

Insulin wani sinadarin hormone (halin insulin) ne wanda aka samar dashi a cikin pancreas, kuma babban aikin shi shine samar da sinadarin glucose a cikin jini domin amfanin dukkan kwayoyin halittar jiki.

Wannan shine mafi yawan ciwon suga. Wato, jiki baya yin isasshen insulin ko kuma baya iya amfani dashi yadda yakamata. Yawanci yakan bayyana ne bayan shekara arba’in (40 years old) duk da cewa ana iya gani ko samun sa a cikin yara.

Ya faru ne ga wasu mata a lokocin daukar ciki, yawanci a tsakanin watan shida da bakwai na ciki. Yawancin waɗannan mata na iya haifar da ciwon sukari na biyu (type 2 diabetes) na gaba a rayuwa.

Azumi sukarin jini kasa da 5.5mml/L (100mg/dl).

Bazuwar sukarin jini kasa da 7.8mml/L (140mg/dl).

Kafin-ciwon sukari (prediabetes):

Azumi sukarin jini tsakanin 5.5-6.9mml/L (100-125mg/dl).

Bazuwar sukarin jini tsakanin 7.8-11mml/L (140-199mg/dl).

Ciwon sukari:

Azumi sukari jini na 7mml/L (126mg/dl) da ƙari ko, rashin karfin sukarin jini na 11.1mml/L (200mg/dl) da ƙari.

Dole ne a maimaita sakamako mara kyau a rana daban don yin ganewar asali.

Wannan na iya faruwa lokacin da kuka ɗauki abinci kaɗan ko kumo tsallaka abincin, yi amfani da insulin mai yawa ko kwayoyin masu ciwon sukari. Ba zato ba tsammani kuma yana iya mutuwa.

Tabbatar cewa kana da abinci a gabanka kafin amfani da insulin ko kusa idan ba shan kwayoyi masu ciwon sukari ba. Shirya abincinku a kusa da magungunanku.

Tuwo: Tuwon ayaba, tuwon gero, tuwon dawa, tuwon masara.

Abincin da ba tuwo ba: Moi-moi, kosei, wake, fura, ayaba wadda bata cika ba, kwai, burodi alikama, launin ruwan kasa shinkafa.

Abun ciye-ciye: Kwakwa, gyada, pear, cuku.

Abin sha ba tare da sukari ba: Sobo, madara, nono, kunu gero ko na dawa, yogurt.
